Fun Facts
Did You Know?
The Citroën 2CV was built from 1948 to 1990 — more than 5 million rolled off the production line. The very last 2CV was built on 27 July 1990 in Mangualde, Portugal. Our White Duck, built in 1990, comes from exactly that final production run.
The nickname “Duck” comes from its distinctive shape and engine sound. In France, the car is affectionately called “Deux Chevaux” (two horses) — after the old tax horsepower rating it was classified under, not its actual engine output.
